Drawings

Drawing was my first love and in many ways still is. Through it I am able to push myself to the least inhibited fringes of my creative intuition/realm. I can venture outside of ideas that seem within my grasp, discovering paths of promising abandonment - letting go to lay hold of things more full or more fully. Sketching is usually an effective catalyst in mapping out the theme of an artwork or idea. The drawings below are studies for vases and sculptures.
